Privacy Policy for Sweep – Gallery Cleaner

Sweep — Gallery Cleaner (“Sweep”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a mobile application for Android developed by Stravonex that helps users review, organize, and clean media stored on their device.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Sweep.

1. Information Processed by Sweep

Sweep is designed as an on-device gallery utility:

• Sweep accesses photos and, where applicable, videos stored on your Android device so that the application can index, display, organize, review, trash, restore, and clean media selected by you.
• Your personal photos and videos are processed strictly locally on your device.
• Sweep does not upload your photos or videos to a Sweep-operated server.
• Sweep does not require you to create an account, register an email address, or create a profile.
• Sweep does not operate a custom cloud storage service for your media.

2. Media Permissions

Sweep requests Android media permissions because access to your device's media library is required for the application's core gallery-cleaning functionality.

Depending on your Android version and the permissions you grant, Sweep may access photos and videos available to it through Android's standard media APIs. You control these permissions directly through Android system settings.

Sweep does not require access to your media for advertising purposes.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Sweep may store information locally on your device to provide application functionality, including:

• Media indexing information
• Cleanup and review history
• Trash and restore records
• Application preferences and settings
• Statistics and cleanup-session information
• The locally cached status of a verified Sweep Pro purchase

This information is stored locally by the application and is never uploaded to a Sweep-operated server. Deleting application data or uninstalling the application removes locally stored Sweep information, subject to Android's application-data behavior.

4. Google Mobile Ads

Free users of Sweep may be shown advertisements provided by Google Mobile Ads (Google AdMob).

Google Mobile Ads is provided by Google and may process information such as device and application information, advertising identifiers (AAID), IP address, and diagnostic information necessary for advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and security.

Sweep does not operate its own advertising network.

5. Advertising Consent and Privacy Choices

Sweep uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage privacy and advertising consent where required by applicable laws (such as GDPR/ePrivacy in the EEA/UK).

Depending on your location, you may be presented with a privacy/consent message before advertising is requested. Sweep also provides an in-app option:

6. Sweep Pro & Advertisements

Sweep Pro is a lifetime one-time in-app purchase. Users with a valid Sweep Pro entitlement never receive advertisements within Sweep.

Sweep does not require users to watch rewarded ads to unlock the Pro purchase.

7. Google Play Billing

Sweep Pro purchases are processed securely through Google Play Billing (product identifier: sweep_pro_lifetime).

Google Play processes the payment and transaction information required to complete and manage the purchase. Sweep does not receive or store your credit card number, debit card number, bank details, or billing credentials.

8. Purchase Entitlement

Sweep queries Google Play Billing to verify whether you have purchased Sweep Pro. Sweep may cache the verified entitlement status locally on your device so that Pro features remain active while offline. This local cache is not a payment mechanism and does not independently create or store purchase transactions.

9. Third-Party Services

Sweep integrates the following Google services:

• Google Mobile Ads: Used to display advertisements to eligible free users.
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): Used to manage advertising consent choices.
• Google Play Billing: Used to process Sweep Pro lifetime purchases and restore existing purchases.

These services are operated by Google and are subject to Google's terms and privacy practices (Google Privacy Policy).

10. Analytics and Tracking

Sweep does not operate a custom telemetry server, analytics backend, or advertising tracking system. Sweep does not use an account database or sell user data.

11. Data Sharing

Sweep does not sell your personal information. Sweep does not upload your personal photos or videos to any remote server. Information required for third-party services (such as AdMob or Play Billing) is handled directly by Google when you use features relying on those services.

12. Children's Privacy

Sweep is a general-purpose gallery utility and is not specifically directed toward children. Sweep does not knowingly collect personal information from children through any account or registration system.

13. Data Security

Sweep is engineered to process gallery media locally on your device. Sweep does not maintain a cloud database containing your photos or videos. You remain responsible for maintaining appropriate device security (screen locks, OS security patches) and securing your Google account.

14. Your Choices & Data Control

You have full control over your data:

• Control Android media permissions via Android Settings → Apps → Sweep → Permissions
• Manage advertising consent choices via Sweep's Settings → Manage Privacy Choices
• Manage Google personalized advertising settings via device Settings → Google → Ads
• Choose whether to upgrade to Sweep Pro for an ad-free experience
• Delete all locally stored app data by clearing storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app

15. Data Deletion & Play Store Data Safety Compliance

Because Sweep does not operate user accounts and does not store photos or user data on external servers, there is no remote user data retained by Stravonex.
